Description
CHEIRO ROXA pepper 10 hot pepper seeds
This is a very special and rare variety from Brazil.
Capsicum Chinense, originally from Brazil. It is a very beautiful, medium-sized plant: it grows perfectly in pots reaching a height of about 70 centimeters, with a crown diameter of around 50 centimeters, suggesting the shape of a small tree.
Plant:
The leaves of cheiro roxa pepper are quite numerous, dark green, while the flowers are white, about 3 per node, which are well matched, for the chromatic contrast, to the black stem. Usually the seeds of cheiro roxa pepper germinate within two weeks, then it is recommended to expose the plant outside, transferring it to a pot of at least 11.5 l so as to allow the roots to extend and leave sufficient space to drain the water and nutrients.
Sunlight allows the plant to develop capsaicin and changes the nuances that appear on the fruit. The production is not very high, but the peppers are aesthetically very pleasing: they go from black to dark purple up to light purple or pink at the mature stage.
Fruits:
The cheiro roxa pepper reach a maximum length of 4 centimeters and a maximum diameter of 3 centimeters, with a lantern shape that has a very slight tip at the end. The surface is smooth and regular and the inner wall is covered with placenta
