Dedo de moca pepper (Scoville 15,000)

Species: Capsicum Baccatum

Green and elongated. When dry and flat, it is known in southern Brazil as pimenta-calabresa. From Lady Finger,  dedo de moca pepper from South America. It is a gangly tall plant and it loves to grow and looks similar to Aji Lemon

Pods are 2.4 inch long and appear oblongish pendant type. thick and juicy skin with a great petty heat, that hits your whole mouth and stays for a while.

The taste of dedo de moca pepper is fantastic and it has an initial sweet taste then it is spicy and finally the heat hits and creates a bit. The great taste keeps going for ages too.
